Q:Hi! I was wondering, when your zit goes away, does a black (or dark grey) spot appear in its place? Because that happens to me, and while my cheeks are clear and feel smooth (finally, after going through Primary 6 - Form 5 dealing with them), there are these black spots instead. Any tips? :(

Hello! I’m goignt o take a gess and say that it is hyperpigmentation. Probably will have this 90% of the time you get acne. I did a post on this before so I am just going to link it for you (click here).

There are a lot of creams on sale that are specifically for hyperpigmentation and acne blemishes. Look around and I’m sure you will find something. It seems to be very popular around the world. It usually says it fades blemishes or whitens. The reason I’m saying to look around and not just buy what I tell you to buy is because 1) Price differs depending on the country, and 2) It may not be available where you are.

You can do DIY for yourself as well. Lemon juice (diluted) will help to soften the hyperpigmentation. Adding it to a honey or yogurt mask can help hydrate as well. Aloe vera can help your skin repair itself as well.

I hope this helped somewhat. =]
